ABOUT US
Total Pursuit delivers a range of health, social, and fitness services across multiple venues in the Wellington Region. Our mission is to have a positive impact on lives by getting people out exercising and socialising through our streams of Total Tennis, Total Fitness, Total Yoga, and Total Events.
OUR HISTORY
2019 - Present
Total Pursuit's story began as a performance tennis academy in 2018 which coached some on NZ's top players at the time, including the #1 junior ranked male player in NZ and several national champions. Following Covid-19 the company changed its direction and rebranded to Total Tennis, a wider and more inclusive tennis organisation. Total Tennis grew and expanded delivering tennis programmes to thousands of kids and adults across the Wellington Region through school programmes, club programmes, centre programmes, and holiday programmes.
Within a year and a half Total Tennis was nominated as one of 4 finalists at the Wellington Regional Business Excellence Awards for Best Emerging Business. Total Tennis remains as one of the regions largest coaching operations and is currently partnered with 5 tennis clubs, 15 schools, multiple businesses and associations and delivers programmes across the capital.
In 2022 Total Tennis expanded from being just a tennis coaching organisation to launching new streams of services through Total Yoga, Total Fitness, and Total Events.
Now beginning to embody an all encompassing health and fitness delivery service through our various programme offerings, Total Pursuit was launched as a parent company to oversee all of our services.
Total Pursuit's mission is simple, to continue to grow and expand offering more health and fitness related services across more and more venues. Our goal is the result of this will be a positive impact on the physical and mental wellbeing of those who attend our programmes. We aim to offer the very best in social, performance, and employment pathways.
CHARITABLE WORK
In 2020 Tim Purchas and Marc Paulik founded the Purchas & Paulik Foundation. Together they engaged in a number of charitable activities including our Naenae and Wainuiomata community projects, 'Active in the Hutt' with the Hutt City Council, and our 'Tennis in Schools' projects
